PLEASE LOOK THROUGH MY GALLERY FOR I HAVE BETTER THINGS IN THERE THAN STAMPS & MOTIVATIONAL POSTERS
No, for real, I'm sick & tired of other so called 'Pokemon fans' acting like little kids saying "OMG the new generation suck 7 are ugly" & "None were any good after the first 2 generation" or even "They don't even look like Pokemon anymore!". For real, GROWN UP & stop being nostalgia fags about the newer Pokemon.
Yeah, some of the designs in the 5th generation ARE ugly, but when many of you people say that, you give no reason why. And plus, many of you just hate for no real reason.
In case many of you so-called 'fans' didn't realize many of the Pokemon from the first 2 generation didn't look like Pokemon [link] (worst Pokemon design ever), [link][link][link][link][link] I did not add Jynx in there because as her Pokedex entry stated, she is the human-shape Pokemon. Also, the 3rd Generation Pokemon was probably the most creative generation yet. How is this [link] this [link] this [link] or even this [link] not creative designs? And FYI, no one ever said Pokemon had to look pretty [link] or cute [link] to be called Pokemon.
The 5th Generation is STILL GOOD NOW as it was then. Deal with it. They get more creative every time. So stop being babies & nostalgia critics about them, & GROW UP.
I also love how many of them bitch & whine about how the newer designs are so 'complex in design', when just like I said above, the older ones weren't any less complex.
And if your still baaawing & whining about this like a real butthurt, then maybe this [link] will get something through your thick heads.
Every generation has its good, bad, and ugly designs. Some good designs are Umbreon,Pikachu, and Sawsbuck. Some bad designs are Muk,Woobat and Hypno. Some ugly designs are Magby,Basculin and Nosepass.
I agree Gen 1 is cool but in no way did it "make pokemon", the developers did. Gen 2 was also nice with it's fair share of cool pokemon. Gen 3 is nice too and has some unique pokemon designs with some looking odd. Gen 4 is nice and has some interesting designs with the exception of the difficulty. And gen 5 is cool but does feel a bit on rails. Every gen is great but also has it's problems, there is no such thing as the best gen, that is all opinion but you are biased if you say the others suck or one is better than the other without good reason.
I disliked the 4th generation because it had a lot of ubers and the designs for most of the legendaries (Giritina's 6 legs in one form and Dialga/Palkia) were pretty ridiculous to me, and they had the most ridiculously overpowered moves. The 5th gen was better but I only liked the design of a handful of them. It was so much to adjust to that I didn't bother completing Black or getting Black 2. But now that I've gotten addicted w/ Pokemon again, I'm trying to catch up and I plan on buying X and Y.
There is no true definition of a "Real Fan" unless it's said about yourself. I personally think I am a true fan, and I'll continue to be one while I continue to not love every last tiny detail about the Pokemon games. Because unless you're completely blinded by some odd obsession there's probably going to be some things you don't like about it.
what I tell everyone who is bitching about any new pokemon game "You really only need to like 6 of them"
I myself agree and will continue to buy and play any new pokemon game that comes out (already saving money to buy a 3Ds and Pokemon Y when it comes out)
There's reasons as to why I hate this generation, other than the whole new "Pokemon are ugly!!!!!!111" For starters, the gameplay is incredibly slow and bloated compared to other generations. Plus, I enjoy the simplicity of the older ones. Everything feels so melodramatic and over the top in Pokemon games, these days. And perhaps at the end where you call us "butthurt", you might want to remove that. More people will take the things you say seriously, in the future.
