Depp Wonka is better

Edit: My opinion on this has changed over time. I still think the original Wonka film is garbage, but frankly if people like it that's fine, but no I won't delete this or make one stating the opposite just because you get asshurt over my opinion on it.

It's coming to me more, and more recently that the true problem the old one has is the absolutely ABHORRENT fanbase Wilder has. Like holy Shiinotic, they're just about as bad if not worse than the people who hate Twilight or Oncelers, because how dare someone like the new one better and have their reasons for it.

I'll probably rewrite this some other time, but the old one is still garbage and by far the WORST adaption of Dahl's books (with the live action BFG following close second), and the new one it still better.

Anyways, yes, I've watched both performances by each actor & I prefer the Depp one, because of many reasons & he is better (as well as the new Factory film).

Gene Wilder played the Wonka character exactly like in the book while Depp played it completely different. But, as I stated in a previous stamp, Gene Wilder's performance got boring to me, & he started looking like some child molester. Depp's version of Wonka was funny, dark, & was a better version of Michael Jackson.

As for those of you who are going to complain how the new one focused more on the Wonka character than Charlie, CAN IT. Tim Burton did that because that's what Rohald Dahl always wanted. Rohald Dahl hated how the old film focused so little on Wonka (he hated the old film in general), & Burton decided to please Dahl. PLus, I'm perfectly fine with the sub-plot to the new Wonka because I've always wanted to know more about him.

Before I finish, to all you Wilder Wonka fans, I am not going to make a stamp that says the opposite (Depp Wonka < Wilder Wonka). So don't bother asking me if I have one that says the opposite or looking through my gallery for one.

Only God & my siblings know how much I HATE the old Factory film.
